Jamison has created a 7” and 9” thick version of this polyurethane foam mattress, which is made to sit on a 10” box spring. Jamison opts for this type of foam because, unlike Swedish foam, it has a quick recovery. The foam in their mattresses is the same used in many fine furniture or upholstery products.

Also, unlike a latex foam mattress, the Jamison product won’t break the bank. A polyurethane mattress is synthetic, while latex is made from rubber, meaning that the harvesting of material from trees make the manufacturing expensive. With Jamison, you get just as much quality while paying much less for your mattress.

The mattresses made by Jamison cannot be directly compared to brands such as Sealy and Serta, because these other mattress manufacturers don’t make commercial beds with solid foam. However, the warranty on the mattress is excellent, with repair and replacement guaranteed for five years (minus the cost of transporting the mattress).

Delivery of a Jamison product is first class. Allow about 4-6 weeks to receive the mattress, and the deliverers will bring in the new mattress, set it up, and remove the old mattress, if you wish.
